ADVICE FOR ENTRY TO SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES BY SEA

  

1. Submit the following documents at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival. 


Arrival Declaration for Sail Clear, 14 days travel history, negative PCR Test Results, Vaccine Certificates, Intended Island of arrival and time of arrival.


2. A health check will be scheduled and once approved by Port Health the captain may proceed to customs and immigration.


SVG Arrivals is available for Pre Arrival assistance and support. 


Always check the Ministry of Health Website for the up to date Protocols for Entry before travel.

All yachts are advised to use an approved agent for Health Clearance into SVG. Each Island has slightly different arrival procedures. 


PRE ARRIVAL

 Submit Vaccine Certs, PCR ,Arrival Declaration for Sail Clear and Arrival Time and Date to svgarrivals@gmail.com


BEQUIA: Once pre arrival health check has been completed, you will receive a ticket permitting captain to clear the vessel themselves at customs and immigration. Health Tickets collected in the North West Corner of the harbour.


ST VINCENT: Once Health Check has completed, the Agent will clear your vessel into the country and then return boat papers. Boat papers can be collected at Blue Lagoon or Young Island Dock.

 

UNION - There are some charter companies and agents in Union who offer health and clearance for arriving yachts.

Yacht captains should still be able to clear themselves into the country. SVG Arrivals is not affiliated with these other Agents and companies in Union.

Health Checks will be scheduled for your arrival.


DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VESSEL ON ARRIVAL IN ST VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES UNTIL ADVISED BY AN SVG ARRIVALS REPRESENTATIVE OR APPROVED AGENT.

Health Checks on arrival are free of charge when completed at a govt site. 


Test Price : $60US - $200US / test depending on the island (if required). 


Once ALL documentation has been received, your health check will be automatically scheduled and a ticket issued for clearance at customs and immigration.

ALL passengers must remain onboard on arrival in SVG until cleared by Port Health.

Bequia/Union Island : SVG Arrivals Pre Arrival Health Checks, Processing and Health Fees:  $55US / $150 per yacht - Yachts clear themselves at customs or use an Agent.

No additional charges


St Vincent Young Island: SVG Arrivals Pre Arrival Health Checks, Processing and Customs Clearance Fees: $75US / $205EC per yacht.  Documents collected from the Young Island Dock. No additional charges.

Vaccine Certificates 


Cards are now sometimes accepted. They must shoe proof of type of vaccine, date of doze and vaccine type. A Vaccine certificate is preferred 


Two doses of different vaccines are accepted in St Vincent (as of August 1st 2021)



Pre Arrival Forms


The online pre arrival form is required for each passenger entering St Vincent and this information is submitted directly to the Coronavirus Task Force. 


Vessels arriving into SVG must also send the PCR and Vaccine to svgarrivals@gmail.com

A few common questions: 

1. Children < 5 yrs do not test.

2. You can receive passengers flying in by air to join your yacht if they are fully vaccinated. 

3. You can swim/kayak around your boat in quarantine.

4. You cannot kitesurf/dive in Quarantine until after PCR results.

5. Results take up to 48 hours.

6. PCR Tests in SVG are $60US to $200US depending on the island.

SVG Arrivals

SVG ARRIVAL SERVICES

SVG Arrivals was originally set up in conjunction with the Coronavirus Taskforce to facilitate yacht entries and the monitoring of yacht passengers whilst visiting SVG. It is a source of information for Yacht Captains or Charter Guests looking to visit Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and was aimed to promote tourism and local businesses throughout the Islands. The team have offered monitoring and of yachts in quarantine to protect the islands from Covid 19, 24 hour service and question answering, assistance with positive cases and medical evacuations, sourcing of test results, booking tests, and continue to offer information to arriving yachts.


 SVG Arrivals is operating on all islands in SVG and our services remain available in case of any questions and pre arrival health applications.

2. Depart within 72 hours of PCR Test or within 24 hours of Antigen Test and Sail Directly to SVG.

3. Health Check on Arrival.

4. Remain onboard until cleared by Port Health.

5. No quarantine if all documentation has been submitted in advance to svgarrivals@gmail.com

If travelling through SVG by boat and stopping for a maximum of 24 hours you are permitted to do so but should stop only in the designated arrival/quarantine areas of Bequia, Young Island Cut or Clifton, or Canouan Marina Dock
